Due to the number of units that you can bring to Ultimate Arena, it is difficult to gear everyone properly if you are still in the early or midgame. If this situation applies to you, then focus on building 1 to 2 solid teams for the boss and fill the rest of the slots with units that will increase your raid score multiplier.
Some general team building tips:
- Each team, ideally, should have a Defense Breaker, an Attack buffer, a single target DPS, and a healer.
- As you progress your account and obtain better gear, it is possible to switch out the healer for another utility support. Some options include an action bar manipulator or a debuffer.
- Include an AG with the AG Type that will nullify the boss’ Defense buff passive.
- For example, when fighting the Red Raid Boss, you will want to include a Striker Type AG for the team(s) that is fighting the boss in its 1st Phase (generally this is will be Team 1) and a Tactical Type AG for the team(s) that will be fighting the boss in its 2nd Phase (generally Team 2 and beyond).
